My Podcast

Just some news. I have had the best download figures than ever before recently, but I don't want it to stop there.

A few months ago, I was on maybe 300 downloads each month. But this has rapidly increased, and I am now getting increasingly large figures:
August 2008 - 1512 downloads
September 2008 - 2129 downloads
October 2008 - 3546 downloads
...and let's not forget I still have two more days to be counted for October!

The daily downloads ranges from anything between 60 and 130 downloads, which never fails to amaze me. Everytime I release a new episode, the podcast has over 300 downloads that day, which shows me I have well over 300 subscribers (including those who don't update that day).

Now, I want to add to that list. Please visit the podcast here, and download all the episodes you want, it's completely free and I love to receive comments. I never do, but the other week I got one (a positive one) so I thought I would plea for more.

Feel free also on the subject, to add me on MySpace here.

How does one apologise to millions of adoring fans?

This is the question I have had to ask myself. It has been a rather annoying week. Getting through Friday, Saturday, and Sunday without the internet was bad enough - but to have that extended through the whole of Monday as well was terrible. So here I am, after a hectic Tuesday, pleading for your forgiveness for failing to stick to the promise I made you. Two days after I said it would be, and five days overdue, here is your latest gift.

Again, read the legal disclaimer to the right and please don't just shrug it off, actually obey it. Thanks.

DJ DLG - Fantasy (Original Mix)
DJ DLG - Hypnotising (Original Mix)
A little piece of news from behind the scenes here at HM101. I spent hours debating whether to type the latter track out as "Hypnotising" or "Hypnotizing" because the actual track is with a 'z' not an 's' - but as an Englishman, I am doing the British thing of anglicising these americanisms. That's what we do. As an arrogant nation, we, the British, think that everything should be done our way or no way - who am I to argue?

Now that we've got the controversial topic of politics over...

Another track that has been swarming the house blogs over the past few days I notice. Not sure how old it is, but it's good, I know that much.
Coldplay - Clocks (Audible Remix)
...oh and when I use the term "swarming" I do actually mean I have seen it on two blogs, and that's just a copied link, so thanks to House Music 4 Life for that one.

You may be asking yourself, "why is he talking so much?" Here is the answer, in essay format for you:
As I am very tired and would quite prefer not to have to find a massive list of tracks for you, I have decided that rambling on in between each of the very few tracks I have provided you with is an excellent filler, and a great way for you to think that I have done my homework and written a large blog post. It's all to do with eye perception, you see? You visit the blog, see a big post and think "excellent" so you'll read and download the mere three tracks available.

Great. If you agree that this is great, send me an email. If you can find my email address that is. It shouldn't be around the blog I don't think, because I don't want you to send me an email saying "great" in agreement to the above. However, if you have any tracks, or comments, etc, please feel free to email me at danielholloway99@aol.com whenever you should feel necessary

Spookier by the day...

Continuing the spooky themed title period over the next week or so, here's some more tracks for you. Now then, before them actually, this will be it for tracks until Monday, so that's NO post tomorrow OR Sunday, because I am going somewhere where the internet is down. Unless the guy actually comes around, which I highly doubt he will, seeing as he was supposed to this morning but never showed up to fix the phoneline problems. Argh!

DB Boulevard - You're The One (Thomas Gold Remix)
I am really feeling this track. Tell me that you don't think it has a David Guetta sound to it, and you're...well...wrong

Honey Ryder - Fly Away (Chriss Ortega & Thomas Gold Remix)
A nice little tech-prog track for you guys

Rick Ross - Hustlin' (Paul Anthony & ZXX Remix)
A beautiful electro house tune... one of my favourites that I have posted recently

Roman Salzger - Solaris (Avicii Greets Joia Remix)
If you don't like this track then you must be mad. A must-have for the collection of any house-lover

And three wonderful tracks for Moonbeam fans out there:
Moonbeam - I See Who You Are (Original Mix)
Moonbeam - Cocoon (Original Mix)
Moonbeam - See The Difference Inside (Original Mix)

Plus a few "okays"
The Original - I Love You Baby
Hard Rock Sofa - Immersing (Noiz Remix)

Spooky isn't it?

I hope you don't mind the new banner for Hallowe'en. I was going to say like it, but then I realise you probably don't care enough to like it - let's face it, you're here for the music, not the banner. Anyways, Hallowe'en is probably my least favourite holiday. Why? What's good about children egging your house if you don't give them sweets (or candy to the readers overseas)? What's good about adults having to turn the lights off and pretend they're not in once a night every year? Nothing, I tell you, nothing. On the bright side, I am doing pumpkin carving tomorrow, so there's that to look forward to.

DJ Antoine - Stop (Filipe Guerra Intro Mix)
Obviously I like DJ Antoine, otherwise I wouldn't post it, but is it me or has he been everywhere recently? He's swarming the blogs like a bucket of dead flies.

Pryda - Wakampi (DJ DLG Re-Edit)
I love this track from Prydz' alias Pryda. Personally my favourite Pryda tune at the moment is Rafunk Miami, but there aren't many good remixes of it lying out there.

Joachim Garraud vs Furious Five - Are U Ready 4 The Message (Haydz Bootleg Mix)
A mashup of Joachim Garraud's beautiful "Are U Ready" against "4 the Message" predictably by Furious Five.

Bryan Adams - Summer of '69 (London Calling Remix)
For those who like 80s classics - remixed.

Kelis - Milkshake (Man Eat DJ & Jizm Remix)
Another remixy thang

MC Roby Rob - Where Is The Party (Enfant Terrible Remix)
There is a lovely remix of this with some other bloke, called "Tribute to Tryvann" - so if you like this track, get that one.

Moby - Disco Lies (The Dusty Kid's Fears Remix)
I love myself a bit of Dusty Kid. There's nothing better than "The Cat" on a Friday night.

Inkfish & David West - Hello Piano (Sebastien Leger Remix)
Woo. That's all I have to say for that one.

Electro Mixes 1, 2 and 3 for Download!

Recently I uploaded three gorgeous electro mixes to my podcast, literally, the best mixes I had ever done. And now, for those of you who don't get the podcast, I thought I would let you hear them here, as a sort of preview, and if you like, subscribe.

11th October - Electro Mix Part 1

This was the first electro mix, mind you not the best. But nevertheless, it had a bit of Sharam, David Guetta and Joachim Garraud in it. Enjoy!

12th October - Electro Mix Part 2

Probably the best mix I have ever done. I could listen to this one again and again, but on second thoughts, the same could be said for the third mix... Quite a lovely little selection of tracks here, and what's best - this is the longest mix: 1 hour 20 minutes

13th October - Electro Mix Part 3

The third and final mix was just as pleasing as the second. Although not as long, I guess that only increases the novelty of it? A lovely mix, if you don't mind me saying so...

Again, just as a reminder, here's my very own track, read the description of it in the last post if you want, but more importantly, just download my track:
DJ Hollobombay - Sheep Cloud (Radio Edit)

Possibly a club mix to come, and I have asked of a friend to do me a short remix, so there's always that to look forward to if all else fails. See you soon, and...
