Taking a Quick Break

As you know, I post to this blog daily. Whether it be news, events, free music, up and coming artists, videos or my DJ mixes; you always get something...daily. But every now and then, I want to take a break from it all. At the moment, there are no good tracks out there. Which is why when I get back on Friday for another post, I want to see my mailbox full of tracks, especially your own. I would like nothing more than to be able to promote any of you unsigned musicians and DJs out there - so send me your mixes or tracks. I'm not 100% convinced, but I thought some of you will like it. Plus it's just a mark of respect for one of my new favourite remixers, Albyn Myers, working on the production side now. He hasn't quite replaced Laidback Luke in my heart, there's only room for one legendary remixer.

Before I go, a couple of things:

• Firstly, apologies for a second mistake I made, this time in the last post. I said that Spencer & Hill's new track was called "Houseboat" but it is in fact called "Housebeat," which was brought to my attention by commenters, so well done to you, have a pat on the head, but that's not really a problem seeing as after download it appears as "Housebeat" in iTunes. Again, it shouldn't be a problem because you are supposed to delete it after 24 hours and buy a copy from iTunes Music Store or Beatport or something...
• And secondly, when I return, I shall bring more changes with me. Given that the last two times I took a "holiday," I came back bringing the blog a gorgeous new look each time, I don't think you've had long enough with this look yet, so the change I am going to make will be in the posting. If it all carries through and I find a way to do it successfully, you shall have it this time Friday...
